It was an introductory game for a Darkamtter campaign.
I set some players lose in a graveyard populated by Zombies, and some form of glowing light (alien probe). but both players kept rolling laughably bad throws and nearly died

Depends on the bug, things like flying ants and termite's wings are pretty reflective. Making taking pictures of them hard...
The reflections from your flash at that level makes it really plausible it just didn't focus enough incorrectly giving you round shiny bodies.
