So its a slow Friday, and I just read a review on the new Magic Mouse from Apple.
It seems to be a great little device with the whole upper surface being a touch pad with multitouch technology.
There is only 1 problem. Its so dainty that a manly hand is just not able to use some of its functions. Like a woman's hands its is dainty and instead of pushing it around one must caress it to use it.
And then it dawned on me. Macs in their entirety are more like women and IBM compatibles are like men.
Similarities between women and Macs:
- pretty
- extra pretty bits on top of pretty (OSX)
- dainty
- always telling you how to do things and gets REALLY upset if you try do things your way
- god help you of you try and solve its problems ( you need to understand how it feels not give it a solution)
Similarities between men and IBM compatibles
- rugged
- extra ruggedy bits (eg water cooling)
- robust (Logitech G5)
- tends to rebel once in a while and do things its own way
- despite ruggedness tends to get ill often and then needs you to nurse it back to health
IBM compatibles are men, Macs are Women
