Terminator 3

Post by OnlyOneKenobi »

The movie starts on the 1st of August I think... is anyone looking forward to seeing it? I kind of have mixed emotions about it, I had the feeling the Terminator series was supposed to end after T2 : Judgement Day... but hey I´ll probably go see T3 anyway.

Didn´t James Cameron work as producer on T3? I was under the impression he did. Anyway in T2, part of Arnie´s arm gets left over in the gears...

Terminator 3, come on, when will it end?

As a human Arnie is not the smartest specimen, and now you mean to tell me his kind has survived two upgraded killer versions. You´d think that the computers would have designed something that was smarter, and not just a big swiss army knife, to kill off the human races saviour and his dumbass accomplice.

Run forest run, cause when he said he was gonna be back, he wasn´t kidding. 3rd time lucky

I´ll still be a hypocrite though and go watch it. Terminator was the $h1t when I was a lighty, so I may aswell support the franchise.

Just getting sick of sequels don´t you think. These producers can´t come up with any original ideas nowadays.

I saw T3 last night , it wasn´t bad! Arnie is as strong as ever and quite funny. The new terminator TX Kristanna Loken is very strong and quite nice.
The movie was a bit short though

How about making a movie of games like Half-Life or even Max Payne they had a much better storyline than any of these sequels, maybe it is not possible. They made T3 the most expensive movie ever, think Half-Life would cost triple that amount!

how much did T3 cost to make anyways?

i doubt that its the most expensive i think that "award" goes to one of the matrix movies

movies based on games hardly ever turn out good remember "wing commander"

yo thats an understatement. She is an uberbabe in my opinion. She has to act a bit stiff in the movie but she provides lots of eye candy compared to claire danes who manages to look a bit drab in this movie

In terms of what i think of this movie well the ending sucks cos there is no dramatic cliffhanger but you know that T4 is gonna arrive soon at its heels and as mentioned earlier absolutely no war scenes besides for parts of a dream. There were one or two funny parts and one or two dramatic bits but the storyline doesnt keep yu on the edge enough and i left the cinema feeling that the movie was too short (it wasnt) but i guess that was because of the lame ending
There was an article there a short while ago about them wanting to make a movie about Half Life. Whether its true or not I don´t know, but if its anything like the game, it´ll be released, and at the last minute withdrawn. Then scheduled again for release, and then withdrawn.
Oh no wait, or was that the Doom 3 movie...

I thought Terminator 3 was pretty good, the only things that are starting to bug me, is, if John Connor is so hard to kill, why only send 1 terminator after him at a time? Why not send like 5 and be sure that he´ll never survive? Also, why send them in 10 year increments? The first one was sent before he was born to kill his mother. Then the next one was sent 13 years after that, and the last one 10 years after that... If I wanted to kill someone that badly and had time travel at my disposal, I´d send as many as I could as often as I could! Anyway T3 not a movie that requires much thinking - Kirstanna Loken is a babe, Arnie is looking good and the action is well done. There are a few funny moments too!
