Steers has stopped their Soya patties

Post by Tribble »

 I couldn't believe it. I know this will mean nothing to the animal munchers - but Steers are now using the compressed vegetable patties as their vegetarian option. They used to have a soya patty that was really tasty - yummy even. Now they have the same thing that Wimpy offers - and it is awful!

Yes - I know you don't care and neither can you do anything about this - but I really had to vent.

Mine biggers!!!!

Whoops, wrong forum *looks left and right, acts as if nothing was*

Umm, yeh. I noticed that a while ago (last year sometime) the Steers patties in general started tasting different, their chicken patties arent as great and their normal beef ones... Well, I can't remember...
Don't know if thoes changed? Anyways, enjoy your veggies!! THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU!!

Stuff 'em pills down your throat as you eat no meat? Soo, your body is almost definatly lacking something...
Not good!! Animals munch, we munch... Just on them. :P

EDIT: HOLY MOLY!!! post 6666... Lets hope I do not get banned... I mean, its all the 6's that are causing this type of behaviour!! I swear!!

Hmm that news disappoints me. I don't usually go for take-away but the Steers soya patties were actually one of my faves.

This is fantastic news!
Good job Steers, I'll have a combo 1 meal tomorrow to celebrate.

The only way we'll stamp out veganism is if we treat them the same way we do smokers and make it extremely difficult for them to indulge their unnatural and disturbing habit in public.

Protest that you are an animal muncher? Why? I really don't care what you put in your mouth    Yes I know - you mean protest Steers. Nope. I have written to their Customer Services - and it will be interesting to see if they care. I called my Steers (and yes the manager there does know me) and told him that I will no longer be buying from him. He has said that he will lay an internal complaint and call me if anything changes as he has had a lot of complaints.

I have done all that I am willing to. I do not need Steers - it was just convenient, tasty food (and I really do not need those yummy chips) - especially when going down to the coast.

Protest - naah - in my younger days perhaps. This cat is far too old and mature for that now

I have a lot of night meetings and it was convenient as I am the only one at home that cooks. My kids are still learning.

Oh believe me teddy bear - we have more disturbing habits than not eating meat

Ummm Tribz one post with three different quotes works better than multi posting and is not against the forum rules ;).

Anakha56, oh I know - but then I would have to copy and paste. Have you noticed the time? and the day of the week? I am far too tired to do that much thinking. :D

Actually, here's what could be happening: Maybe the reason it tasted so good was because you never did actually eat "soya" patties. It was the real thing.

Why not start a petition and send it to them Tribz? I kinda like soya patties - I'd sign. Get one of those online petitions.

jamin_za, if everyone ate meat -there wouldn't be enough for all of us, there just isn't enough land. So let us be thankful for Tribz and her kin.

Just staying prepared because I am threatened and so should you be, 'cos it's like they say: Save a cow, eat a vegetarian.
