not necessarily....... my room isnt cooled at all and i get 24 or less idle without an issue.... i think in your case you should sell me your wc and get high end air cooling :P

Ok sweet then with that case i would def recommend high end air cooling. TRUE 120 Extreme should be more than adequate for 4Ghz.

PM me when you feel like selling :D

I finally fixed my temp problems. !!!!!!!!

Seems the fans have to be blowing through and not pulling through. I now have 4 12cm fans in a push pull setup and my cores max out at 50c at 4ghz . still not what you guys are getting but this is good enough for me.

Weird how the extra fans made a 7c dif.

Um there is a hydraulic fittings supplier in randburg, i'll get the details from my dad.

Another question, will i need a chipset block if i overclock?

Would you guys like an explanation regarding pipe threads? And differences?

i'd recommend one, but you can get decent active air cooled ones if space is a premium.

Hmmm i have a blue zalman chipset cooler lying around somewhere. Would that work? Or do you still have that chipset block up for sale?

Hds in randburg. Will look up the address now. Sell all manner of hydraulic fittings and the little old german man who runs the place, should be able to tell you what you need to know. :D

aren't the swiftech barbs plastic? Mow the swiftech barbs are also npsm, which is a straight parallel thread rather than a taper. So be careful, you might want to put plumbing tape on the threads to help seal it. Also the npsm fittings seal with an oring, not on the taper like npt.

Oh, and about the G threads, these are bsp parallel.

One other thing, make sure those brass fittings are solid brass and not brassed, ie plated.
