Cpt. he fails to even rationalize it since I doubt he will be able to name any one cause which can be proven. Also he talks about the diff in monetary income. I wonder how many times more does he earn every month than the average farm worker.

socialist rhetoric has never suffered from an abundance of common sense or logic... it doesn't need to... in more mature societies this sort of silliness would be laughed off - unfortunately maturity is as scarce in africa as common sense...

Why unbelievable? Have a read-through of the 'Easily Offended' thread to see what other stupid stuff humans believe in. ;)

news.yahoo.com wrote:North Korea: One of the Happiest Places on Earth?

According to a global happiness index released in North Korea, the country and its allies are the most cheerful countries in the world. Naturally, the "American Empire" strikes Pyongyang as just plain sad.

Shanghaiist reports that North Korea's Chosun Central Television recently came out with a happiness index compiled by local researchers. Their findings? China is the happiest place on the planet, earning 100 points (a perfect score!). At number two is none other than North Korea itself. Cuba, Iran and Venezuela (in that order) round out the top five.

The United States places dead last, coming in 203rd. South Korea is nearly just as depressed a nation; it ranks 152nd on the list. Some spots, North Korea's research indicates, are just nowhere near as smiley as the Axis of Evil.

The Chinese net is ablaze with the results, screen grabs of which have been posted to popular sites. Implored one commenter on the Chinese online forum Mop: "Please send me to the U.S. so I can suffer, too."

edition.cnn.com wrote:Zimbabwe officer who used Mugabe's toilet awaits word on his fate

A police officer in Zimbabwe who has languished at a police detention barracks for a month for using a toilet reserved for President Robert Mugabe will learn his fate at end of this week following an appeal to his boss.

Alois Mabhunu, a homicide detective was sentenced last week to 10 days after he was convicted by an internal police court for responding to a call of nature in a toilet which had been reserved for Mugabe at a trade fair in Zimbabwe's second biggest city.

On Monday, a relative of Mabhunu said the officer was not represented by a lawyer at the hearing, but is hoping the police commissioner-general, Augustine Chihuri, will overturn the guilty verdict this week. He said he had heard that Chihuri will look at the appeal on Thursday or Friday.Besides serving the 10-day sentence, Mabhunu, a homicide detective, has been demoted and will no longer allowed to wear plain clothes.

Contacted for comment, Wayne Bvudzijena police spokesperson on Monday said the issue of Mabhunu was an internal, purely disciplinary matter on which he couldn't comment. Bvudzijen said Mabhunu failed to obey instructions and the law had to take its course.

Mabhunu was part of the security team when Mugabe attended the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair last month. He is alleged to have rushed to the VIP toilets reserved for Mugabe and Jean Louis Ekra, head of the African Export Import Bank, who was participating in the opening ceremonies.

When he was stopped by other officers guarding the toilets, he obliged, but he later forced his way in. The following day he was arrested, he has been in custody since then.

Johannesburg - SuperSport has not yet decided on Darren Scott's fate after the Rugby World Cup.

Scott ended his contract with radio station Jacaranda 94.2 and his work at SuperSport for the duration of the tournament after he called a colleague the k-word last Friday.

"We haven't decided to keep him or to let him go," said SuperSport spokesperson Clinton van der Berg. "This is a sensitive issue and we will wait for the dust to settle before we meet with Scott and his legal representatives."

Scott was widely criticised for his actions, but also lauded for apologising and resigning from Jacaranda 94.2

His supporters started Facebook groups on Thursday in which they plead for Scott to remain a presenter at the radio station. Some even threatened to boycott Jacaranda 94.2.

Unforgivable

"We hope people will not forget all the good things we do for them and how much they enjoy the music," said Jenny Griesel, spokesperson for Jacaranda 94.2.

According to branding specialist Marcus Brewster, the damage to Scott's reputation will probably not have a lasting effect on his piggy bank.

"Sexual or drug-related scandals, such as the one that Joost van der Westhuizen was involved in, are easily forgiven by society because it involves the personal affairs of famous people," he said.

"When a statement, however, includes hate speech, it becomes a matter which involves the community and is not something that should remain personal. With our history, a racist slur has become unforgivable.

"The guy made a mistake. Fortunately people forgive easily. I think Scott is too talented to stay without work for long."

Lol, unforgivable but evidently ignorable.

Some zinger comments there:
As a white person, It's not nice to be racist, but, you make it so easy!
I lol'd.

Darren Scott is complete moron.

Firstly for continuously loaning a deadbeat money (who buys a house with a R3000 loan BTW - I call shenanigans)

Secondly for dropping the K-bomb in public.
I know it's still a very popular word South Africa, but most people who use it have the common sense to do so alone or in like-minded company. The office team-building golf day is not the place for it. Save it for when you are around the braai with your maaitjies plotting the next overthrow of Equatorial Guinea.

How about calling a black man a **** in front of witnesses?
And then having a rant when someone tells the press about it... LOL!

He's a plank.

He's done a few embarrassing things in his day - last one I recall was his arrest at Grayville racecourse during a July a few years ago.
He ran the nude race and then went wandering all over the race course in the buff and got picked up for indecency. Then he had a big old rant because East Coast radio "didnt do enough" to get him out of trouble.

Winnie rumoured to pose for Playboy
2011-09-16 15:20

Cape Town - Playboy South Africa has landed a major coup with its upcoming October edition cover.

Three famous local female characters who have been part of the political landscape for the past twenty years will appear together on this much-expected cover. They are said to be of different ages, races and ideologies.

Confidentiality statements have been drawn up and a team was dispatched to Playboy's printers last week to get all personnel who will be working on this edition to retain secrecy.

All Playboy staff have also been sworn to secrecy and it is expected that Playboy will be making an announcement by the third week of September, as the new edition is about to hit retail outlets.

When the news was recently announced on a local radio station interview in the Cape, also without disclosure on who the characters may be, the air waves were abuzz with speculation on whether this Playboy cover might perhaps include Helen Zille or Patricia de Lille, both fierce advocates of the freedom of speech issues Playboy has advocated globally for more than 57 years.

A spokesperson for Playboy said during this same interview that Winnie Mandela could not be ruled out entirely.

Zim man claims prostitute turned to donkey
2011-10-26 12:16

Harare - A Zimbabwean man has told a court that he hired a prostitute who during the night transformed into a donkey, and that he is now "seriously in love" with the animal, state media said on Wednesday.

"I think I am also a donkey. I do not know what happened when I left the bar, but I am seriously in love with [the] donkey," Sunday Moyo told the court, according to The Herald newspaper.

Moyo, 28, was arrested in the town of Zvishavane, about 300km south of the capital Harare on Sunday.

He said he had paid $25 to a prostitute, and was surprised on Sunday morning when he heard people accusing him of having sex with a donkey.

Moyo has been charged with bestiality. The court has ordered him to undergo a mental examination, The Herald said.
