Indeed and compared to the ps3 the psn store loads in a fraction of the time. Resogun is probably the best game on the system at current and its a basic game. But give it some time. I just want to know what next months free game is.

I too am interested to see what next months game is. I have a 14day free trial for the PSN network, but 145 for 3 months sub, it's really worth while.

Buy your PSN R500 vouchers from cheapcodes.co.za then buy the annual sub from the PSN store. CC used to be a lot better when it got to pricing but things change. I think around september there usually is some kind of special on PSN+ like 33% off or get 3 months more for a year sub.

I noticed Takealot also sell them for basically the same price...what I like is that I can use my ebucks there and Takealot usually have the vouchers which chop off 50-100 bucks. Will prolly go for the one year sub as it just makes more sense...I have a 250buck gift voucher with them too, so I should get a pretty good deal :)

That is the rumour, will wait till they announce it officially. I didn't like the game on ps3, was too dark amoungst another things. The ps4 release might just do the trick if they get it running at 60fps and 1080p.

If you've been following the ps4 vs xbone stuff you should have noticed by now the distinct lack of 1080p from xbone games. The 60fps thing is still all over since the ps4 cannot do that constantly. A lot of games that just feels like they are all over.

I am confident it will be the game :) or well I do hope so! Never played it before, but am always keen for some sort of zombie shooter...and one that is co-op to boot :)

Yea I have read up on that...and am not surprised aboot the X-bone...I think it will just take a bit more time for the PS4 to iron any glitches out as it is a whole new architecture and not the same as the PS3.

Okay, I've thought about it this way and I guess you're right.

I don't use twitter (anymore). His tweet was in the news. I do find Carmack to be very interesting though, he may not be the best, but he is certainly more knowledgeable than I am!

In other news: I got to play with the Dual Shock 4 today. At last! It feels clicky, solid.

I finally finished The Last of Us two weeks ago which was fantastic, but now there are still just 3 PS3 exclusives (maaaaybe 4, haven't played MGS4 yet) which made owning the console worthwhile for me. With that in mind, I'm not sure I want a PS4. If there's an exclusive I want to play I could always just rent... or use a friend's console. They will not complain, it will not be allowed.

I guess going from a PS3 to PS4 might not yield as massive jump if say you are going from no console...Like I have played on a PS3 for maybe 10minutes since it was launched many a year ago, PC being my main form of gaming. So having a PS4 is a whole new experience and one I am really enjoying...

Trust me Molean, my rationale would be very different if I could afford one right now. Sour grapes I guess  toys are always awesome!

There are no must have games on PS4 yet. Time will or should change that. PC however will keep my main gaming experience.

The Beta for Final Fantast XIV went live yesterday and I must say the game is really awesome! Just dinged level 6 and can't get enough :D Controllers are easy to use, gfx are very nice, albeit some textures of the NPC's could do with a bit more detail...however, I am finding it really enjoyable to play and hella easy to get into...chose a Conjurer as my first character. It feels like a much faster version of WOW...

Some people say it looks like a PS2 game. You know that you can switch classes on the go? Your not stuck in that one profession/job/class, you can change as you see fit meaning a max level can do anything.

Woo I did not know that...it is a beta and nothing carries over once it finishes, so will see how it goes...

As for it being compared to PS2 graphics, that is a load of bollocks...I actually played on a PS2 the other day and wow, those are dated gfx...
