Have you ever been poked on Facebook and wondered exactly what it meant? Well, in this article, we will take a look at the meaning of a Facebook poke. It might just mean much more than you think.
Also that story seems fake.

We play poking games - it is nice to know that there is someone else around. That you are not alone out there

They should change it to "nudge" instead of poke
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

I don't play that game with my mother. But my sister-in-law is on her phone 24/7.

This new spambot attack thingy seems to be the most successful thus far. The one with a pic of a girl with what appears to be a toiletpaper bra and a link that supposedly shows her suicide video. It's actually shocking. The first one appeared on my facebook newsfeed about 6hours ago, since then more than 20 of my friends have been "tagged".

It's shocking to see how eager these guys are to see an attractive girl commit suicide(even though its just a spam attack).

+1

Got it a couple of times today. First time I thought, what the hell kind of person would want to see that anyway?

Got it from two of my cousins. My mom's side of the family has always been a little dodgy.

News24 wrote:Children unsafe on Facebook - EU

The EU says many children using social-networking sites don't use privacy settings, making them vulnerable to stalkers and other harassment.

EU data show that 77% of the bloc's 13- to 16-year-olds have profiles on social networks, while among 9-to-12-year olds 38% are on sites like Facebook or MySpace.

Twenty-five percent of those children don't use privacy setting, and 20% of those with public profiles display their phone number or address.

"These children are placing themselves in harm's way, vulnerable to stalkers and groomers," the EU's Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes said on Monday.

Kroes urged social networking sites to automatically make profiles created by minors accessible only to people they are online "friends" with.
Seriously . . . PARENTS?

It does it when the person clicks on the link. Then it generates another image with link and taggs a few other random people. The only reason why this is happening is because of noobs that click on the links. Don't believe me? Click on the link and see :)

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

vehemently... i fail to make the connection between telephony and farcebook... prior to farcebook there were any number of sites offering similar services - some even charged for service.. (expat, friendfinder, yada-yada). farcebook is about as new and innovative as a yeast infection... only less functional...

frankly, if any portion of the internets enjoys a greater than average infestation of socially awkward misfits with ego issues and an inability to interface with real people, it's farcebook.... which is what makes the piece so funny...

Can someone give me Rusty's phone number please? I am developing for a Call Centre company and the agents are currently being trained to sell 8.ta to the public. I am sure he would love to be added to their call list and hear what is on offer.
