Friend's R16000 build

Hey everyone
So I was initially putting together a list of parts for my friend under the budget of R9000. After his birthday his budget went up to, well, high (for me that is). His dad got a new list suggested to him by another computer guy and now I made changes to that list as well (a couple of the parts are not available here in SA). I just want to make sure that this will be the best he can get for what it's worth.
Many of the parts on this list are what was suggested to his dad by a random computer guy. I decided to go with them as I did not see anything wrong with most of the parts and the other parts I changed.
List 2:
CPU - Intel Core i7-2700k 3.5ghz LGA1155 Quad Core (8 threads)
- R3186
CLR - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
- R342
MOBO- ASRock Z77 Extreme4-M All-in-one LGA1155
- R1488
RAM - Corsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9, 16GB (4GB x 4), Vengeance
- R1459
GPU - MSI R7850 Twin Frozr 2GB GDDR5 256bit
- R1807
PSU - Corsair CX600 V2, 600w
- R812
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX, 1TB
- R1030
DVD - LG GH24NS90, 24x SATA, black
- R171
CHA - Cooler Master Trooper, Full Tower, Black, Windowed side panel
- R1917
MOU - Logitech G500
- R707
KEY - Logitech G110
- R823
SCR - Samsung S24B370H, 24" Wide LED
- R2306
Total: R16048
I do not want him to go any more expensive than that, but I just want to be sure that he will be getting a decent gaming rig for that amount of money. I hope the PSU will be good enough, because he might want to crossfire 7850s in the future. I also do not really feel that he needs an SSD for now, unless it is seriously recommended.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice given
