Which card to choose

Hi all ...

Just wanna ask . I am buying a new GPU because I need to upgrade currently running a HD5770.

I am going to buy it in a month before 15th june to be exact here my options:

ASUS GTX 570 = R3600
AMD Radeon 6970 = R4200
ASUS GTX 480 = R3500
2 x ASUS GTX 460 = R4100
2 x AMD Radeon 6850 = R3500

I am looking for a good card I will even consider GTX 580 but as you can see I dont want to breach the R4500 mark.
I am not sure what will be the best bang for buck.

I am running win 7 64bits
Also is there any reason to go for a modular PSU?

If you have cable management in your case and youre able to hide all your then its not necessary to get a modular psu. I would personally go for the gtx 570. And just make sure that your psu is big enough for which ever card you decide to get

So that 6970 is better than the 570? in general. I am not gonna run a rez higher than 1900 .

Lets ignore price for a minute and focus on the cards.

Hada quick check after the OP: The GTX570 is a bit faster it seems and it comes with PhysX.

By judging the latest benchmarks there isnt a massive difference performance wise between the GTX570 and GTX580. It doesnt justify the price difference so it would be a waste paying more for just a a small performance increase.

Nvida vs ati. The battle continues! I would go with the 570 because as kalster said, it comes with physx. Im trying to sell my ati card for a nvidia card.

i am a AMD fan boy, but if i have to choose between the 6970 (R2961) and the 570(R3100)...... i would have to go for the GTX 570... GREAT price for a GREAT card..... still love AMD though !! Damn these days red and green makes some awesome cards.... credit to both!

Yeah I am going to go for the 570

My reason is I was a nvi boi until I got my HD 5770 turned my world around lol I thought nvi cant keep up but after the 5xx series came out I thought to give em a shot .

SO in a few weeks ill hit up that 570 ima give me HD 5770 to my friend for his bday. His stuck with a 9500gt lol
