Post by Drakonis »

It is about time
A notice posted on the official Crysis 2 website has confirmed that the long-awaited DirectX 11 patch and a high-res texture pack will become available for the PC version of Crysis 2 on Monday, 27 June. This will coincide with the launch of the 1.9 patch for the game

Promises promises. If they DX11 patch comes out I might reinstall the game. But even so it is a bit late.

I'm running the DX11 patch at the moment and it looks and plays beautiful. Downloading the high-res pack now.

It'll all be on the August PCF disc, for those with small internet caps.

I'd like to see a banana with some tassels on. Are you willing to make me one?

Multiplayer I can't see any differences. Single player there is a nice video showing it on www.gametrailers.com and as for myself noticing things, the game runs faster. And the extra visuals are noticable now and then.
