Oz looking set to get R18+ rating for games

Post by Drakonis »

Yay for jamin, I think
Australia has moved another step forward in their quest to get an R18+ rating for games. The current highest age rating for games in that country is MA15+ and titles like Left 4 Dead 2 have previously been refused classification and banned without substantial edits and a reclassification taking place. Australia’s federal government has now approved the R18+ rating, setting the stage for it to be implemented

So does that mean that Australia will now un ban all games that got banned because there wasn't a high enough rating? So back to everything is accessable to everyone as long as you meet the age requirement?

You can still buy the "banned" games off steam or from any online retailer so meh!

Plus I only play Japanese hentai games like Water Closet and RingOut, so what do I care if rubbish FPS's are sold in stores here :P

And it's jamin_au, if you please...
