Now I am lost..... lol.... what exactly is Starbound's custom tag? Sounds like I need to be initiated. The last time someone tried that, it didn't end well.... both for me and the person doing the initiating.... lol

Ett seemed quite popular today. Had to queue to greet the dude. Was there with a buddy who was drooling over his Dremel collection.

Sorry the photos are from Facebook - taken with my little point and shoot camera. Sorry about the quality - low because of FB.

It is a Tribblet with Pippa from The Verge and PlayR. She really took to him - they all did. He is a real charmer.

So, rAge was amazing. Seriously, the most exhausting experience of my life, but it was so, so good. Modding like that for the whole day and speaking to people about it the whole time was amazing. I also made some good contacts :P

Thanks for the pics Tribs :D

Absolute pleasure - just wish I had taken my big camera :D

You did look exhausted - but my kids thought it was really cool that I knew you  And your case is looking stunning! Would love to take pics when it is done <hint hint>

Oooh we watch the Sunday morning edition - thanks - I shall have a look. We were standing around when they were filming that little kid doing the Tony Hawks thing. My son seriously loved that game - especially when the shark nearly got him. But his best was the Bakugan <sp?> We kept ending up there. I am sure there were fewer displays this year than last year. We still had a ton of fun though.

Ja, I was a little disappointed in the expo, tbh. I don't know how you managed to squeeze an entire day out of it.

Oh it was easy. We had such a blast playing the games, looking at the tech, walking around. Would have been there a few more hours had they not closed. We made friends wherever we went - the lady selling the T-shirts invited us for coffee (obviously so that she can make more sales) and says that they can create the jacket I want :) There were such awesome people there (DJV was the best)

Perhaps our expectations are lower than other people's - we get excited easier. We are also easier to please :D Whatever the reason - we all had a fantastic time - even Salomé did. I normally take the kids on my own so it was strange having another adult there - but it was fun :D

The Photo and Film expo is next on my list - weekend of the 16th. Cannot wait for that one either.

I was hoping that Cats Digital would have some photography stuff on display. Turned out not so much.

Did you say hello to Firestrm while you were there?

I really enjoyed rAge this year. I guess it was because I was alone and I could take my time and check things out properly.

Highlights:

DJV (humblest dude I have ever met)
Kinect (oh my word.... cant wait for Nov 10)
Bought a new Case (Antec Dark Fleet DF-85)
Picked up DJ Hero Bundle for R399.00
Met some awesome people.
