oooooo! Nyrad is here

It would be sooo cool to have his rig in the mag. I actually seen it in person, and it is bloody awesome. Everytime i go to this guy's house i feel like spending large amounts of cash on my rig so i can compare it to his.

Awesome machine there man, even if you did almost take off my hand for almost touching the screen :P

Email it in then... but it seems to have no modding done to it though, so ya um?

Nab wrote:OK just to clarify: send your submissions to letters@pcformat.co.za complete with specs. We will then contact you for more or higher res images if needed as well as possibly a video that we want to put on the mobizine. I am dead keen on modified machines though, a Rectron special with some LED's is not likely to make it, especially after some of the awesome mods we have on the local scene. If you have any questions plx raise them now as this thread is going to be locked very soon!

well, i agree with Wikid...
its RIG of the month, not MOD of the month... why not do both instead of just one...
some people prefer to have an unmodded machine that is maybe overclocked to hell, than a highly modded machine thats really just bog standard with no overclocking!

Most people who OC do a certain amount of modding, possibly for cooling reasons. I don't know the first thing about OCing beyonfd Gigabye Easytune5 but i mod to make my PC look better and run better.

But if people want to send it in, its their perogative, i'm just reciting whats in the previous posts. ;)

PCFormat wrote:We are not interested in a trust fund machine with specs that will blow a botnet away, nor are we looking for a cheap old bucket made from leftovers. What we really desire are machines that have that little something extra, a bit of your personality, a bit of custom loving and most of all some identity.
The way I understand this is that you have to do a little something to your rig to make it stand out from others, apart from having the most uber expensive hardware.

well then submit it in and explain what you did. it looks impressive

And oi, a mod without pics or a project log of WIP = epic fail
