okay :),

first thing is first, the old mod :
Image
i was kinda unhappy, felt i could do more, so, unasseble everything:
the top comes of with effort, its all glued..
Image Image
the rest of the case is just a matter of screws and removing all the stuff:
Image Image
the prevoius mod had powder coating... so i sent it off to get sandblasted, but the guys told me that it wont work on the powdercoat...:(
so they dipped it in acid for 24hrs..that worked like a charm, the case came back looking like it was just built. :)
after i sanded off the places i wanted smooth, and made a hole in the middle for the wc pipes...it was time for primer:
Image Image
after that i wanted to use a sort od mesh to cover the back..we first used silicon to stick it...
Image Image
it turned out a bad idea, cuz when it was time to paint, the silicon made bad doo doo...so off with the silicon, and on with the paint-hope-it-sticks-with-paint :
i used about 3 cans of matt black paint...it worked very well with the whole primer thing... :)
after paint i cut holes in the mesh for the backplate etc..:
Image

btw, this pic is just one coat of black paint, primer is cool but uses a lot of paint..
so far so good...this all took about 2 weeks

for the next 2 weeks, i did this:
meaure the plexi i want...2 sizes, one see through, one black... :)
order plexi, pay for and collect plexi.
buy lights, opted for EL lights, i wanted an ambient glow, not in the face lighting..
finish paint and cut and trim and file off neatly, and assemble:

as for the wc..what a mission, i first thought that it wouldnt fit, but then after some very seriuos pondering and demo placing, i decided that it would..
in goes the WC...
Image Image

now, wherea are those pipes going??? did i make the same mistake? NOOOO!!!! hahahahaha :
Image Image

Image Image

as you can see in the last pic, i already started running my EL lights through...
Image
and the bottom of the case:

:)

putting it all together was very dificult, i had a wc leak, but some pro soldering and new fitting later, it was beautiful

Really a good mod, clean and uncluttered, just the way I like it!

Well done!
