Breaking news for anime fans!!!

Post by cYcLIc »

Wait for it, wait for it...

Theres a new anime channel coming to DSTV. Completely dedicated to anime for mostly for over 18's so you know they will be playing good stuff.

I cant wait. I'm not sure on when it will start but its soon as in sometime this year, maybe even in a month or the next few weeks.

:D

now all they need to do is bring back the Sci-Fi channel then I might actually watch more TV

Not sure how this works but won't licensing mess up the rotating anime hdd story (even when fan-subbed)?

I read an article about Naruto fansubs and licensing. Naruto fansubs were banned for a while after being licensed in America, but it was soon realised that the oodles of publicity that naruto enjoyed was due to the fansubs and they were, thus, allowed to distribute fansubs again.

Don't take this from me though.

Is Animax local though?

dubs?

Post by blue-palm »

I would be hyped for this...but... I first need to know what language it will be in?

I can't really stand dubs at all, so does anyone know if we are getting subtitled anime? or dubs (i'd imagine its the latter)

hmmm, I am wondering if this is gonna be subtitled... I really doubt it...

if you check, all of the ones that will be showing, from I have seen on the list, have all been available dubbed...

SEED, Hellsing, GITS, Basilisk, Eureka 7

maybe we lucky and we get a feature for subtitling, but that is another doubtful thing...
