Hi there guys im a bit stuck..I had a bluetooth virus "Commwarrior.sis"
I have succesfully removed that... so I Downloaded Anti Vir for mobile phones, when I tell it to scan in ROM it finds some viruses BUT now because they are in ROM I cannot delet, rename them... Any tips at all ?

format!!

3key format, but be prepared to lose all your data, unless you back it up!

switch phone off.
press and hold "*" + "green phone" + "3".
and switch power on while keeping those keys down, until you see the "formatting" screen. oh, and make sure u got a full battery. otherwise, you'llcorrupt the phone and render it useless.

Thnaks bro i REALLY hope this works since i bought myself antivir for mobile phones... this Btooth virus is crap !!!
It sent abt 150 mms's to ppl on my address book... and it even spreaded to the lan pc that had bluetooth on.. so you can imaging there were abt 12 ppl at the lan and their phones got infected.. they sent mms's out as well so yeah i killed the lan :(

well, im also gonna say i hope the format works. if it doesnt, you gotta get the phones software re-installed!

Where is this LAN??? I neva knew u could format a fone, wat fone is it?? If formating it doesnt work, then it will have 2 be flashed! The worst is the Carbi virus!!! Sum1 tried 2 send me a commwarior virus, my fone aint symbian so i accepted it, then tried 2 send him the carbi virus :twisted: and his fone was hidden! :( ! So ya...hope u get ur fone fixed! :D

What was in the MMSs it sent out. Heh heh, can imagine a few things.

go try a Symbian software called "System Explorer"~ was called SeleQ b4 if I recall correctly~ it can edit move delete files and folders in hidden folders~

OR TRY THIS

When disaster hits (from a virus or something)
it calls for a phone format.

First of all: Backup all your data as the format
will delete EVERYTHING.

Then make sure that your battery is FULLY charged.

Now enter *#7370# and the phone will ask for your
lock code (the default code is 12345)and it will
start the format. This will take a few miutes.

You won't believe this but after the format the virus is STILL in my ROM. It seems that the Nok6600 came factory loaded with these viruses.. what the hell man ??!! :idea: >> lets Sue them...:evil:
