Heinrich Brussow fit for the weekend game and 4 other changes made to the team.
Sadly, if these changes do not pan out, we have no depth to experiment further.

I have a massive gripe with the Cheetah top management, focus on Harold Verster.
That old croon are so entrenched I have no idea what it would take to get him out of there.
His administration are the reason we are struggling to find major sponsors, thank god Toyota stepped in at the last minute to save our backsides.
His administration are responsible for the exploitation of new blood by not giving them decent market related packages, I mean R5k per month is a joke... and then insult to injury, when they found out Mapoe was looking at Natal, they gave him R10k.
His administration are responsible for the consistent exodus of top rated players (should I add coaches too?) every season, by not making it meaningful to stay on.

It is sickening.
New blood. I wants it my precious.

And with a convincing margin as well? The Cheaters I mean.

Well done.

The less said about my chosen team's performance, the better though. :| Bad Bulls.

What a weekend !
I hate saying it, but the Cheetahs did not play a convincing offensive game, they played defensive. What gave them the tries were a lackluster Waratahs team. Heinrich Brussow at the breakdown is a freak of nature - I sure hope Snorre sat up and paid attention.

The Bulls were mediocre, I expected them to win. Again, I raise the question - considering their Bok-heavy team, they should be trumping or be near-trumping every local team at least? None of their games thus far inspired me - which is bad considering their Bok load. The rugby primadonna's like Fourie and Spies needs to get back to basics, for the sake of the upcoming RWC. Big-up to the Stormers, only unbeaten side remaining in the tournament.

Sharks had every opportunity to sneak a win, they looked deflated.

I feel the bulls have a game plan that does not work very well.

Kick away the ball. You can't play rugga without the ball! And that kick-chase thing does not work. The other teams read them like a book and make sure to combat that tactic. 2 games in a row at the "fortress"? Eish!

Yea, I never understood the kicking game. The times you manage to retain possession after an up'and'under is 50/50, I fail to understand why the tactic is used. Especially when every 3rd rate team caught on to it and have a defense in place.

If you going to kick, kick for touch to get out of your half or try area when under pressure. Or kick when attempting a drop-goal. Or kick if you are isolated and have no options.

On the other side, running from your tryline also makes no sense.

Yeah. If you are in a good field position, keep the ball in hand. But don't go kick a up and under when you are in the opposition's half. Eish!

If you want/need to kick, kick for field position or tactically. Not just "lets kick the ball up and see if we get it back".

Snorre better be sane with his selections.

I'm more worried about the game plan!

Seems the bulls and the boks have a similar one. It might have worked in 2007, but not in today's game. Remember the Tri-Nations 2010? We employed the same tactics similar to that of what the bulls are still playing and NZ adapted to the new game very quickly and basically swept the floor with us...

There are a couple of selections I'm worried about, but lets wait and see if he got some sense knocked into him in the off season. :D

The Lions are going from strength to strength - it is half sad to see them losing.
The Cheethas were out-classed by the Reds, nothing more to say there. (Besides GO CHEETHAS !!)
Stormers are the only SA outfit I think that can carry the torch for SA, ahead of the Sharks. Good on you Lance.
Gutsy comeback performance from the Sharks at Twikenham VS the Crusaders, but hell... how in-form are the Crusaders! They can run the ball from anywhere on the field, find gaps and breaks that does not exist and at one point it seemed they will put up a 50 point margin. Sharks drank some magic water half-time and regrouped well the 2nd half, but it was too late. Best game of the weekend.
