So....50-60 points against the All Blacks next Saturday? What do you think?

Re: The Rugby Thread (All Leagues and Tournaments)
Not all young players... a couple of old carthorses in there. Surely even "young players" should have learned how to protect their possession and tackle in primary school?KatrynKat wrote:remember that the SA team that is currently overseas is a very young team in the sense that it is all young players... generally the B team...

The score-line flattered the Boks.
Need I add that the coach gives the impression that he is out of his depth and that any semblance of a "game plan"
is one-dimensional.
Some of us who watched the match this weekend have grown used to such inept displays and laughed at the South African rugby players at some parts of the game.
SA will have a difficult time getting past the group stages in New Zealand, but should cope with Namibia.

Re: The Rugby Thread (All Leagues and Tournaments)
England now play with black shorts and jerseys... what are they trying to accomplish with that? This is bizarre.

They claim it's a sign of respect to the All Blacks, but to me it's smacks of disrespect. Blerrie poms.senile wrote:England now play with black shorts and jerseys... what are they trying to accomplish with that? This is bizarre.

Re: The Rugby Thread (All Leagues and Tournaments)
I see that the Bluebells' away shirt this year will be purple and pink.

Bulls try psychological warfare
In a cunning move designed to win more away games, the Blue Bulls have unveiled their new pink and purple away jerseys. The brightly coloured jerseys are intended to shock and confuse, or reduce opposing teams to fits of laughter.
More brains in the Bulls Camp than some might have thought, eh?
