This should be in the Locker Room, but nontheless I'm an avid supporter of the Bulls (and have been for years). Amidst the controversy surrounding the team they're fielding against the Stormers, people fail to realise that the Bull's "B" team boasts 562 Super Rugby caps. Players like Jaco van der Westhuysen, De Wet Barry, Heini Adams, Pedrie Wannenberg, Derek Kuun and Bakkies Botha all have a large number of caps so I honestly think they'll give the Stormers a good run for their money. JJ Harmse from Sports 24 puts it all in perspective:
JJ Harmse wrote:It is understood the Sharks are furious with the Chiefs.

The Waikato-based side has picked a below-strength team to play the Blues in Auckland on Saturday and with the home side expected to win easily as a result, the Sharks will lose out on a possible eighth spot on the log.

Listen to this pathetic excuse by Chiefs coach Ian Foster when announcing a team with a backline of players from his wider training group.

“The Super 14 is a tough championship to bring young players into, especially tough when a number of them come in together at one time, but the lessons learnt over previous weeks and good preparation means they remain excited about the opportunity to perform for the Chiefs.”

Ha ha, and we should fall for that? Yes, they have a couple of injuries and some niggles, but how dare the Chiefs try and manipulate the final standings of the competition to help the Blues stay ahead of the Sharks?

Jonboy its the same thing with the waratahs they are mad at the Bulls for sending a so called "B" team but that "B" team can win any team on any given day. So stop complaining. Don't blame the bulls if you have a bad season

Moved to correct location...

I think the Stormers will probably take it. Home field advantage, a stronger team, and they need to win whereas the Bulls don't...

I'll be supporting the Bulls though, and can't wait for the semi finals!

For sure. What do you think about the fact they're playing at Orlando stadium for the Bulls semi and final. I haven't seen it before so have no idea what to expect...

Notions are predicated by prevailing actions, so nobody's calling you a retard, just don't post like a duck and expect to not be thought of as a duck.

I initially posted that I'm an avid Bull's supporter. People (being the Waratahs and other NZ / Aus teams) are complaining about THE TEAM I SUPPORT fielding a B-string squad. What I then went on to explain was that our "B" squad fielded a large number of caps and has every chance of beating the Stormers this weekend.

I'm not complaining. I'm not blaming the bulls for my team having a bad season, for they are the team I support.

So please, chill out before getting all agro, mmkay. 8)

 Play nicely infants :!:

Franchises who field weaker teams in the Super14 have good reasons for doing so, Bulls really do not care if they win or lose, makes no difference to their home semi. However playing at Orlando may well do so, only the most die hard fans will go there, not because it is at Orlando per se but the security worries. car break ins, fights and so on, maybe I am wrong, I sure hope so !:

Regarding the Stormers, this game is a must win, they will be going all out, Newlands is already sold out, as a Stormers supporter and season ticket holder, I will be there as will 50000 others.

I do predict A stormers win for this game.

I think it could go either way TBH, I didn't think the Sharks would beat them last weekend, but they played better on the day.

The Bulls team have a lot to prove / vying for places in the first squad

The statistics does not lie - the Stormers is the team with the least points against them! If we won the two local games (which we shouldn't have lost!) we could have been nr 1!

But now it is full speed to the final (just that small hickup tomorrow)!

I am actually worried about tomorrow, not that I think the Stormers cannot beat the bulls, but after all the bad press by the Aussies about it being a B team, they have something to proof!

GO STORMERS!

Oh come on Mykhal - if?

If I'd won the Lotto I'd have had seats for the game this weekend, but I'm still up in Gauteng.

I just hope the Bulls don't damage your players too badly tomorrow - I'm still holding thumbs for a North/South Final!
