Nah brazil will give italy imho

I'd rather see england vs brazil :D

What I wanna know is where does the confed cup take place? I heard its played in neighbouring countries in africa but I cant see other countries having enough pro. built stadiums to play at

In SA on the other hand, the stadiums aren't completed yet :?

I cannot believe that we only drew 0-0 against Iraq. Gutted, after that clearence off the line by Bernard Parker, how unlucky can you get?

The Italians have taken over my gym and one of the fields at my son's school. They are going to such lengths to ensure that we cannot see the players. They even covered the windows of the tog room and closed the restaurant down. They have also fenced the field and covered the fences with banners so that we cannot see them.

I shall find a way ......

I will be happy as long the winner is not one of the "OMG, I HAVE BEEN MAIMED BY THE WIND" teams.

These include:
Italy
Brazil
Portugal
Spain
any other Latin country

Never saw the Italy game last night but Brazil vs Egypt was a pretty good match...

Really did look ominous for a couple mins when Egypt came from 3-1 down to 3-3 so quickly...

Yeah both of them were really exciting, I only watched till the score was 3-1 in Brazil's favour and then again the incident packed last 10 minutes.

South Africa actually dominated against New Zealand. Well done. Althoug, after the second goal, it was kinda like watching Roelof van der Merwe bat. No real thought ... just trying (and normally failing) to hit the ball as hard as possible.

Yeah the Bafana have improved over the last few years but lets not kid ourselves....they're not very good either

Some of the passing is so weak...

Also ball control...especially receiving passes etc. is not too good..

Okay, so SA performed far better than anybody expected last night, and nobody says anything? :?

Sure, our goalie did half the work, but still!

It was frikkin Brazil!

SA played really well and should be proud. Brazil played pretty poorly though, but still, it was rough going down in the 88th minute, they almost made it to penalties, then it could've been a different story.

SA vs. Spain should be interesting.

I was proud to be a South African while watching that game. After their performance last year and before the Confed cup - I was amazed at the change. Yes Brazil were not up to their usual standard - but we made it to the semi-finals with talent. I am a bit more optimistic for next year :D
