Tamsin, could you please post deadlines when you make these requests? It would give us a target to work towards. I _might_ be able to get hold of XIII, but I'm not sure if I will get time to play it.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

Wish I had the time !

My review of the latest game I bought would be :-

Went to the shop and bought Homeworld2.
Got home, installed it, didn't like it, uninstalled it.
Anyone want a second hand copy ? :)

But there is one game I'd love to do a reader review and that is Doom3 !
Of course, Far Cry should be on the shelves the first week in April, so there's an option, as I'll be almost certain to be heading off to buy it based on reviews I've read online.

Fame will be mine ! 8)

Far Cry

The first thought that went through my mind was that this was just another shoot em up.
How wrong could I have been! You are a freelance mariner in a red Hawaiian who is stranded in paradise after escorting a journalist through the jungle. But don’t forget, you are being hunted by mercenaries. You must use a wide selection of weapons and vehicles in order to escape the mad scientist alive.

Vehicles are a pleasure to drive. Ranging from jeeps to armored boats. My personal favorite is the jeep. Equipped with a 50 caliber machine gun with 500 shells, it is a formidable opponent to a few lonely mercenaries in the jungle. You can also run them down. In one of the beginning missions, you even get to pilot a hang glider.

Probably the best thing about Far Cry, is the scenery. You have two choices, when roaming the jungle. A) Stick to the road and shoot everyone in sight or B) Hide in the bushes and sneak into the militia post. The further you get into the game, the weirder it gets, but it doesn’t go over board.

1 thing Where are the screenshots
2. The journalist is a CIA agent
3. The freelance mariner has miltary training

Next thing

it deserves a 91% bite off more than it can chew meaning Very high spec game in term off real specs
My friends think i need a life. What do you think?

I'm not sure about the rest of you but I think that there aren't that many decent games out there that haven't already had good reviews! And the rest just suck too much to even bother writing about...
