Oh believe me. I know the feeling. Little nala will wake up and when she notices that I'm stil sleeping she starts cleaning the shelf by knocking everything down. Which usually generates reaction in the form of yelling or locking her our the room.

There after she looks for the spot which will make the loudest noise. Usually the bathtub and then she will start meowing(more like a demonic scream) until I give in to give her some food. by then the sun is slowly starting to rise.

You are doing it wrong - don't put the food away when you go to bed. Make sure there is enough for morning.

I am sorry but: Eff that!
Kitty tried the whole: "miow, miow, breakfast time" with me a couple of times.

She underestimated my laziness.

She doesn't do it anymore.

Mine know better - they wait for me to sit up in bed before the miaowing starts. Then they follow me to the bathroom - and then we switch the PC on. And while it is booting - they will be fed.

Hitchcock-type Narrator: Are you nervous, pussycat?
Sylvester: Yep.
Hitchcock-type Narrator: Why don't you try reading? That always helps.
Sylvester: Yeah. Yeah, that's a good idea, and besides, reading is good for you.
[picks a book from the shelf, sits down and reads it]
Sylvester: Once upon a time there lived three birds - a mama bird, a papa bird, and a cute little... blue eyed... baby bird.
[drops the book and screams]

Hinduism “This is the sum of all truth righteousness: treat others as thou would be thyself treated. Do nothing to thy neighbor which hereafter thou would not have thy neighbor do.”

Confucianism Tzu-Kung asked: “Is there one principle upon which one’s whole life may proceed?” The master replied, “Is not reciprocity such a principle?
What you do not yourself desire, do not put before others.”

Buddhism “Hurt not others with that which pains yourself.”

Judaism “What is hurtful to yourself, do not to your fellow men. That is the word of the Torah and the remainder is commentary.”

Christianity “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for this is the law.”

Islam “Not one of you is a believer until you desire for one another that which you desire for yourself.”

Amazing how such different beliefs share such a strong core principle. And as Judaism says - the rest is commentary.

Attributed to Nintendo's President Hiroshi Yamauchi

One of the Nintendo game designers asked the
company's chief, "What should I make?"

He replied, "Make something great!"
