Wow, dude. As far as I see this chick is just playing you. It's best to get out of this relationship, and fast.

I do realise it will be hard to just leave because of your feelings for her and the baby, but it's just not worth it man. Get out as soon as you can, and just maintain a neutral relationship with her so you can see the child whenever you are possible.

Sorry to ask this - are you sure there isn't anyone else in her life? That is the only reason I could think that she wants you out.

For now - stick your ground. You paid rent and deserve to live there.

Damn dude, you sure have a complicated life, fark! Sounds like a succubus, but since she'll be in your life for the foreseeable future because of your child together, I'd say get out now and try to keep things civil with her for the sake of the child.

Sounds like she never really wanted you living with her but thought she needed financial assistance more than personal happiness.
She's definitely not a keeper. Get over whatever feelings you have for her as bets you can
Don't be too difficult about splitting up tho, keep some goodwill in the bank because she can bend you over when it comes time to negotiate visitation rights for the kid.
You chucking her out of the house wont stand you in good stead with her, or the court - which always favours the mother anyway.

In short, if you plan to play a part in this childs life, you need to dance to her tune... within reason.
Moving out tomorrow is not within reason. Moving out as soon as you can is.
Get the lease changed the day you move out tho.

//take my advice at your own risk
///Hope your situation improves soon

That sucks. It does. But rather keep things amicable so she doesn't get nasty and try to strip all visitation rights.

They are right. My brother's girlfriend got pregnant and didn't tell him until after they had broken up. She then used him until the baby was born and then wouldn't let him see her any more. She then wanted him to pay maintenance but he found out that she had cheated on him while they were dating. He said he would pay but wanted a paternity test. She refused and would not let him see her unless he paid. He has never seen his (possible) daughter.

Some women can be very manipulative and nasty. If you are sure the baby is yours and she starts refusing to let you visit - get a lawyer. She may carry the baby but as the father you do have rights.

Wat?

She's got another child with a guy she split up with?

Contact this guy and hear if he's got the same story.

KB needs your advice

Post by Monty »

Document everything, keep everything relating to her, your child, your relationship. Contact a lawyer for advice and to represent you in possible future action.

Move out when you can, get the name on the lease changed. You don't want to be held liable for anything that she does to the place when you have moved out.

Also, see if you can get receipts showing you paid for all the things you have paid for.

And consider a paternity test if there is even a minute possibility she has been unfaithful.

If she ends up cutting you out of your kid's life or is trying to manipulate you in some way regarding it, you want to be able to show you tried to be involved in your child's life but she was unreasonable and cut you out. It will help your cause if you ever need to go to court over visitation or custody rights.

Very important: be civil to her. Don't get angry at her, be rude, threaten, or anything on those lines. Give her no material that she could use against you to stop you seeing your child.

On the more human side, I'm so sorry bro :( I cannot begin to understand the pain and anguish you are going through.

Get out, move on, get the test done and should it be your child get a court order to see her every other week in exchange for parental upkeep or if its not your child walk away knowing you got a glimps of hell first hand before death.

Sorry to spam your thread KB but this reminds me of the story with the miners and sex ed. The miners family and women came with them while they settled near the mine so the trip home wouldn't be long. But the fear was they would need to stop mining to take care of their women so they got in an educator on how to use a condom. However they soon had more issues with more pregnancies than before. Turns out the men took placing the condoms over their fingers literally.
