Killerbyte gets dumped

Post by KillerByte »

Hi guys

Been a long time since I have been active on this forum.

So I got involved with a girl, she was cute, she was fun, she came with a child but I was cool with that. I changed a few things in my life to make her happy.

And now she has ended it.

But wait, this is where is gets interesting. She dumped me while I was in Cape Town visiting my dad... more importantly she did it over Gtalk. It struck me yesterday how little she must think of me to end it over gtalk.

Nah dude. It only speaks of her own integrity.

Don't know you, but it always sucks to get dumped. No matter who you are.

You're better off, ending a relationship that way says mountains about the value of respect to her. TBH, you're also better off without the excess baggage.

Sheesh man, sorry to hear that. What a crappy way to get dumped. As long as you don't think as little of yourself as she does, you should be ok eventually. Yo don't, do you?

Huggles huns...
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

I was cool with the kid. Grew attached. She says she still loves me but today I send her a bunch of roses saying I am going to give you the time and space you ask for but she didn't even send me a message saying thank you.

Did she have a reason, if I may ask?

Women language 101.

I need space = I don't want to be with you anymore. Ever.

Dude, you are better off without her. Dunno how long you were with her, but the kid probably felt more like a friends kid that you can play with and he goes away at the end of the day.

Dont make the mistake to beg her to come back or something. Forget about her.

says i wasn't giving her the attention she wanted (was with her every weekend and at least one night during the week), she says was ignoring her (chatted to her every day, all day on BBM and gtalk). I was and am a genuinely nice guy and this is how I get treated. There is another reason she gave but its content is not suitable for these forums.

The kid has also gotten attached. We attended a 21st birthday on Sat and the kid asked if I was coming for a sleep over. Obviously I wasn't. She told me on BBM that he cried all teh way home and cried himself to sleep.

Sounds like she wants to keep you around as backup in case she can't find someone else to help take care of her kid.

Well, as has been said, better leave it now and don't go back, even if it is just for the kid's sake. He should be the first person to think about in this situation. It is better to let go and let him recover than to try again and let it all happen again. Whatever her real reasons were, they are not likely to change. Poor kid...

Good luck to you man.

It's threads like these that are the precise reason why I refuse to get into relationships. Let's just say that I've experienced this myself as well.

Given the way you were treated, I'd say that you were better off without her. I hope the kid doesn't dwell on it though.

So I guess the saying is true. WoW epics are bind on pickup, girls aren't.

But maybe that's just it. She wanted more commitment then. But if it helps to think of it like this way it opens you up to this flood of games we are getting until the end of the year.

Sounds like she wanted an out. Not sure anything you could do would have made her change her mind.

So sorry you have to go through this.

it is possibly more about this rather than you not being a nice guy or even getting along with the kid

Man, your heart must be sore if you're posting this here :( Sorry dude :(

And yeah man, at the end of the day, you're better off. Just went through the worst year of my life because of a break up, but in hindsight, it was probably for the better, and I'm actually feeling pretty good these days :P

So you'll get over it dude, it's just that the time between now and then will probably be pretty unpleasant. But you can do it :)
