Help, I'm bored

Post by D3PART3D »

Help :(

Yes, it's very silly of me to start a whole thread for this but a) I'm desperate b) when the other sissies get tearful, you're all too happy to throw your two cents into the plate, my turn :D

You see, here's the problem. I'm bored to death. Usually, around this time of the year, I'm obsessing over a new PC, a game, stealing some guys girlfriend, etc.

This year none of that interests me. Crysis is gorgeous but from the demo it feels like Far Cry all over again. Portal rocked, but I'm not playing it twice. With the weather as it is, necrophilia is a little difficult. I got some money to spend... and believe it or not, I can't think of anything I want to buy. (No, you can't have some.)

Train surfing, crime, recreational drugs, babies have all crossed my mind and no, none seem like they're going to entertain me for too long.

Is this what they call "cynical" ? How do I fix it? :x

@ Jeff - man, I'd LOVE to come through to CT, only I got family responsibilities at the moment *sigh* Thanks for the offer :D

Paintball sounds fun! :P I'll definitely look into that. Don't want to play anymore PC games though, I need some sunlight for a change :?

Hmmm... Let's see.. Learn something new - take a stab and learning a programming language, for instance... Programming is a good time killer, very satisfying, and an impressive skill to have on your CV. Or pick up a good book - The God Delusion comes highly recommended :P.

No problem PC! It is very interesting, provided you're not sensitive about religion - Dawkins has a rather aggressive style of writing ;).

How are you finding it so far? Not too difficult? If you need help, you know where to ask ;).

Um well there are a few options here.

1. You could hit up facebook join the group called "Let's set and break a Guiness Record!!!! Approved by guinnessworldrecords" or "Six Degrees Of Separation - The Experiment".

Then just dis and argue with people on the discussion board.

2. Play Team Fortress 2 online

3. Go buy UT 3 and play that

4. Go to Lollipop Lounge

5. Get really drunk

6. Gym

I am a guy so please people stop sending me these shady pm's and start playing computer games or bodybuilding. Forums aren't a good place to get chicks the gym is...

Then spend some of that money on this game, and watch your attitude change. It's completely different, unless you actually LOOK for things like Crysis, but then thats your problem not ours.
