Replacing vibration dampeners

Post by StarPhoenix »

I recently bought myself a Zalman CNPS10X Performa CPU cooler. Unfortunately, one of the adhesive rubber dampening strips went missing while I was work on the cooler, while I managed to mangle the other when it attached itself to an installation guide after I had removed the strip from its backing.

Do any of you know of an inexpensive material with similar properties to rubber dampeners that I could use to replace what I have lost and mishandled?

Thank you

Thanks. Will get some this weekend and use a craft knife to slice it up.
