Some of the problems with TRL's next gen seems to be with the AA and depth of field settings. Switching AA off in the game, and specifying say 2x in your control panel helps a bit.

14,077 using E6700 @ 3.4GHz with Sapphire X1950XTX Toxic
Will see if I can do better, now as this was some time ago.

3DM05 reaches a cap of some sort when you get past the 22K mark. Like you could make 19K with a single 8800GTS add a second one and only get 24K :/
Change to GTX and only get 25K[/img]

I'm up to 10654, GFX at 625 / 1600, CPU at 2.6Ghz, MEM at 432Mhz 2-3-2-1 timings. Now if only I can get my GFX to run 3dMark at 670 / 1600.

See, the CPU makes a huge difference. My score is only 1891 lower than yours. And Gouhan's is higher than yours.

12454 for a 8800gts, isn't that abit low? I'm not sure what they suppose to be.

I'm going to order mine tomorrow so wanted to findout.

That x1900xtx toxic got 14000+, should the 8800gts be faster?

I got 10200 with my 7900gs overclocked. The 8800gts should get atleast 5000 more.

Otherwise it benchs the same as a 7900GTX-Stock

Maybe in 3D Mark 2006 there will be differences.

You are CPU limited. No matter how much power your graphics card has, your CPU is holding you back. Your score should increase if you raise the clock on your CPU. The toxic X1950XTX was running on a C2D at 3.4Ghz, you should get a slightly higer score if you use the same clock.

My word people. 8800's are very very processor reliant. You can easily get 15k maybe more with a gts with a better chip.

Still a bit low, I've got around 11K check a few pages back. And that's with my X1900GT, and my Opteron 170

Got it up to 12 500 Embarassed
What cpu and GPU clocks? If you're running stock, this is more or less normal. Also, drop the image quality settings to high performance in the nv control panel.
