Thats a pretty good score I believe? Whoever else has a 6800 Ultra please post scores so I can compare!
That must be stock right. Are your drivers set to performance cause that is medium-lowish for that card....
8O , I would have thought thats a good score!

It is at stock and no my drivers weren't set to performance. Just finished downloading 66.93 drivers, will try em out to see if theres any difference.

Yeah, if you set your drivers to performance (which is what people normally bench on) then you will gain a good few hundred points, maiking it on par with what I have seen 6800 ultra to get.

You should be able to reach 13.5k with a bit of an overclock.... :P

You should use the Rivtuner LOD tweak to bench, all the top guys use it so, i just think it's fair that you all know about it. Download Rivatuner and goodle how to do it.

I dont know much about Nvidia and its overclocking, but isnt Rivatuner specificly for overclocking? Just btw, I have no plans to OC this card...

Thanks Assassin, will benchmark again tonight.

EDIT: The 66.93 drivers didnt go me any good, my 3D Mark03 went down by 20 points, 05 went down by 200 and caused some glitches in NFSU2.

I'm back on the 71.93 drivers for now, will try out those 75 drivers later tonight!

Rivatuner is used for all nVidia card tweaking, you can set Preformance levels, Level of Detail, Opel GL settings, Direct X Settings, Open extra Pipelines if you card has them.. And then there is the overclocking part of it :D..

One cool feature as well is that it has a temp monitor on a graph, so after a benchie you can go check thems.. pretty cool :D .. You guys are getting average scores for that card.. I would say try the 75.90 or so drivers they seems to work very well in 05 Espicially.

Aren't the 75.90 Beta drivers though?

Also, currently to install new drivers im uninstalling from the control panel then rebooting then installing the new drivers. Is that correct? I tried earlier today to use Driver Cleaner and when I deleted Nvidia Windows File Protection came up and said that some of the files needed for Windows were deleted. It asked me to replace the files from my Win XP cd. Is that supposed to happen?

Delete Drivers from Add remove. Then Before reboot, driver clean them (Driver Cleaner 3) Then reboot and install new ones.

Yes 75.90 Are beta, but you can try the 71.84 they are suppost to be the WHQL'ed version, dunno about the preformance though. I tried them, got crappy benches, uninstalled, Maybe i did something wrong ..

Yup like Jason said....best performance right now if 75.90 drivers. Beta or not, they work, and as I stated before, I don't have any problems in games as well.

The new 77.13 drivers seem to give a nice little boost of about 100 points more in 03.

Just benchmarked with drivers set on performance, I got 12450 :D , just tried to put my score on the result browser and then I realized I had an older version of 3D mark03, so just busy downloading patch now - unfortunately I saw it said benchmark scores will not change!

I also changed my AGP aperture size from 128Mb to 64Mb before doing this benchmark. Any other "tweaks" I could try? Besides overclocking!

*EDIT* : Benchmarked again with latest version and got 12492.

lol, i was bored, so i decided to try destroy the poor thing (but it kept working lol)

Um, get urself "nvflash" and make a bootable floppy in windows,
reboot and run the command line in dos (I THINK!!! A:\nvflash.exe -b backup.rom)...and return to widows,

then get urself a proggie called "Nibitor" and open up the bios file in there,
u will be given a list of voltages you can change (ur clock speeds too)

save the edited bios, put it on the disk, reboot, and then load the bios into the card, (I THINK a:\nvflash.exe -f *name of bios.rom*)

that should work (i'm goona mod my friends one soon, so i'll let u know soon!!!)

Cool mozz!!! The core is higher than my stock Ultra  I am thinking of flashing my Ultra to a Golden sample (425/1200) The highest I clocked my card was 440/1280 and I got 1300+ in 3dmark 03

Thanx Mozz and Jasonhk!

I'll do the mods and let you know what speeds I got and the 3DMarks...

The current Highest clock speed I achieved without a volt mod was 570Mhz Core and 1200Mhz Mem. But I did not benchmark it, since it does not have decent cooling yet (working on it)..

I'll keep you posted
