MSI AfterBurner 2.1

Post by juDge »

I have a strange issue with my MSI GTX 570 and MSI AfterBurner. I cannot unlock the core voltage. I have researched it (ie google) and only come up with a solution of hacking the cfg file to allow it but that doesnt work either :(

Drivers: 275.33

Anyone else experience this?

MSI 570GTX-Twin-Frozr-III Power Edition OC

There is an issue with regards to the 570's not being able to adjust voltages when using Afterburner 2.1. Can't find the article where I saw it though, but it is related to Afterburner directly and not to the Nvidia drivers. It seems that this issue affects all cards fitted with the Twin Frozr III coolers (both ATI and Nvidia) :?:

Download Afterburner 2.2.0 Beta 2 and see if this resolves your problem,

Driver download: http://downloads.guru3d.com/Afterburner ... -2604.html
Some comments from other frustrated owners: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=342814

Hope this helps.

A newer AB should always do the trick they fix all the bugs in their betas. But it seems to me that betas have an expiry date, and they fail all of a sudden so try keep up with the latest releases

Currently also using Afterburner v2.2.0 Beta 5, but I see that it expires on 30 August 2011. Hopefully they would have released a new version by then...
