3DMark 11 conflict

Post by GuntherHanne »

Hi

Maybe there is someone who has the same problem as I have or hopefully even an answer to it

The problem that I am experiencing is that for some reason or other (I don't know why) I cannot run 3DMark 11 - it stops running after the 4th graphic test and at the start of the physixs tests. It just crashes or stops working. I have patched it to version 1.01

Also, once I have installed 3DMark 11, my 3DMark Vantage stops working as well. For that one to work again it's not enought to just uninstall 3DMark 11 - I have to actually restore my system to a previos restore point when everything worked

It's a great pity as I like to retain Vantage and I'd like to run 3DMark 11 - somehow I cannot as there seems to be some sort of conflict happening between these two benchmarks

Anyone with an answer for this?

What GPU drivers are you running
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.

I'm running the latest drivers (10.12), but even the previous ones (10.11) presented me with the same problem

Great, there is a fix for this problem now:

downloaded and installed the latest versionb from Futuremark, ran the aplication - it then asked for the download of an upgrade to the Systeminfo - downloaded and installed that and now it's working 100%

Even 06 and Vantage is now working again
