Why 3.2ghz, thats kinda easy to get. Wizard you should easily be able to get 3.6ghz.

Most forums runs their benchies at this.??

I don't know dude had a tweaking session this morning and got a 390FSB and SuperPi of 15 Funny thing is I'm losing preformance the higher I go has to do with the slighty higher ram timings..ah well ....

Just doesn't wanna do 400FSB

The ram doesn't take any thing higher than 1.825 at 3.5 but boots fine/benchmarks on 1.9 3.0Ghz.....

The board is very very picky on volts to get 3.5 I only had to "gooi" the ram a bit aswell as a bit on the vcore.....
Yeah so I am on my way to 400FSB but not with the ram I got now...

Ok. I'd like to make a suggestion.

06 benefits alot from quads so lets say just 01 and 05?

Looks fun :) can't wait. We need lists too ;)

Sounds like fun.

Can anyone tell me were i could find the bios update for my
graphics card?

Inno3D 8800GT Overclocked Edition.

I've read on hardware sites of it being bundled with the card.
I did get it with, plus, the box mine came in looks completely
different to what I've see on the net.

Yeah I think it's time I update my sig.

Chaintek DDR2 800 GT

1:1 and going to try a 8 multiplier people seem to get a better result...

I'm still looking around for a good pair of 1200mhz 512's at a fair price before aiming for 430-450

I don't think it's the power supply check sig..

No prob dude 3.6 it is then...

Will have to wait for my cooling stuff to arrive before I have a go and a stable 3.6GHz or when hell freezes over so pick one..... :D

Dude we can even push for 4ghz if you really want pretty sure I can get 450 but would require me having some serious cooling and some wicked stable ram...

There is little to be made on some GT's without having to water cool them first like my Extreme edition refuses and thing higher than 1000mhz on the ram and 670 on the core so I'm pretty much screwed in that area.

All I would have left is tweaking... trying to push the ram lower to 4,4,4,10
mabye push for 4,4,4 8 but that is at the brink of having the ram on fire...... and 3,3,3 6 would be like wow the PC lasted 10 sec before melting down just a pitty how ram latencies have gone down hill since DDR400 even SD133 had it better...

Whats up with the 3D Mark 05 rubbish, we are having a score challenge with some of the latest cards using outdated benches.

To get the most accurate score for todays market you would have to use '06, i can still understand maybe '05 but '01 is a royal waste of time back thens games are like Tetris in comparison to what we do these days.

Hey any1 know when the new 3Dm will be out?

You really are an ignorant noob aren't you? Or just plain stupid?

05 is a single thread application you potato muncher where 06 benefits from quads. 01 is a bench that is less gfx based so the whole system and tweaks make more of an impact. Go play cs1.6 or something that you don't need a brain for.

lol wtf. I still bench in 01. 03 05 and 06. They all have awesome uses for testing different aspects. Like I34z1k said, 01 definately is less gfx based, and shows big differences with better cpus. 05 is nice for gpu benching, and 06 for quad cores aswell as gfx. I even benched 3dmark 99 max for some old school stuff the other day!

I'll give u an accurate score for a good cpu using 3dmark 2001 or Aquamark3 now now... Try and get these scores with your setup at 3.6ghz...

I dont like '06 as it is very biased to quad cores though.

couple more days and I should be able to give you guys my scores. . .first gotta get hold of all the old 3D Marks. Maybe I'll install them off old PCFs. I take it tests are run at default right?

of course with the 3dmark hacker sofwate on the side

Looks like I'm out of the game tried this morning and can't get it stable enough some thing is seriously wrong or I'm not doing it right???

Does a test almost near the end and resets some times completes a test and soon after resests...I can pretty much confirm temps might be a slight problem or some thing is not getting enough power or getting too much......

Thanks :) what are your clocks for everything at? If you are clocking your ram up a bit, try loosen the timings for 3D. Also make sure your cpu is getting enough voltage and is stable. But don't overdo it! lol. Run a 32M Super Pi and if it completes without any problems that usually means your cpu is stable enough. Takes about 14minutes at 3.6ghz.

yeah the ram/FSB is 1:1 = 400/400 4/4/4/12 so no problem there..

vcore sits firmly at 1.52.

Lucky for me I sorted the problem. The vcore needed some extra juice. And it's stable as hell did superpi test from 16k all the way up to 8m ran fear for 20mins ram aquamark 3 for 5 loops and NFS most wanted for good measure...not a single reset or any thing

However I can't run a single 3dmark except aquamark,3dmark does 2 or so tests and kicks back to the desktop.Clocked the cpu down to 3ghz and does the tests no problem?

So now I have a new problem  .This time I have no fix for it.I wonder if it might be XP that is the culprit kicking back to the desktop...

Would any XP updates help over and above service pack1????
