XFX 8800GTS 320mb XT 3DMark06!??!

Finally got my hands on one (thanks s1ght) but now i wanna know if 7992 in 3d06 and 12900 in 3d05 is normal. My machine specs are in my sig. Oh ya, card is 560/1700mhz. Thanks.

Yes, benches will be affected by your slow CPU but games will still be fine, you wont notice a big difference between your CPU and a C2D in games.

Ok, so if it is the cpu holding it back will something like the 6400+ Black Edition help? I am planning on getting it in about two weeks. I think its clock is something like 3.2ghz. I would love C2D but that'll want a new mobo obviously.

Yes but to be honest, you'll only see a big difference in benchmark scores. Games will play the same. An X2 @ 2ghz still packs a punch in most engines. You could also overclock if you want some more power.

Ok. Updated score of 10 616!! Woot!

SM2.0 score: 4811
HDR/SM3.0 score: 4929
Cpu score: 2461

How is that? I am very pleased! Seems the cpu upgrade was worth the money. Yeah!
