go to this site and get a very pretty idea of how fast your download and upload speeds are.

The link to the pic that's in your post seems to be broken.

At work I get 844 down and 209 up with 77ms latency, but bear in mind that the connection is shared with 15 other people. If I was to come in at around 2 in the morning, I would probably get better results.

I'll run the test again when I get home and compare.

Im guessing the image should read kbps and not kb/s

supposedly at my varsity we have 2x 1Mb lines. but if telkom upgraded these to 4Mb shouldn't my connection be faster.
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.

Unless... they HAVEN'T been upgraded. Knowing Telkom, this wouldn't surprise me.

kbps = kilobits per second.
kb/s = kilobytes per second.

LOL, no you don't want this connection, I work for a bank and there are only a few select websites we can visit through our army of firewalls and proxies. I am actually quite surprised the test worked.
