I have parabolic (grid) antennas at my house. 3 x 9db and 1 x 15db I think.

They all work. I don't want them, come collect them if you like. I am in JHB, by Northgate.

probably worth a couple grand each :)

To celebrate the 2 years that PTAWUG has been running we will be having a PTAWUGmeet, Saturday 15 August 2009, at 10:30 for 11:00 in Doornpoort, Pretoria North.

All current wuggers and prospective and interested persons welcome. This is a good opportunity to meet connected wuggers face to face, ask questions and gain more insight on how PTAWUG operates and what we do on the wug.
There will be braaiers and fires, so bring your dop and meat for a lekker kuier after the meeting.

Please register and add your name on the wiki and see map and more details at http://www.wug.za.net/wiki/index.php/PT ... 2009-08-15

Standard PTAWUG wifi kit is R1800 incl from miro.co.za or scoop.co.za - you can buy on the PTAWUG dealer account, it also provides 10% rebate to the wug, with which we rig out new highsites or upgrade current ones.

We will be having a wugmeet at the end of Feb again, in Centurion.

Feel free to ask any questions here.

got my kit the other day. On sunday I will be putting it up. I am going to help put up the Keevy Kop high site on Saturday.

Expect something interesting in the mag about WUGs within the next few months.

If I am not mistaken, JAWUG does ask a monthly/yearly fee. Is PTAWUG still connected to them?
