Are the paid versions even worth the money? I am using MSE and am very happy with it.

Nothing. I hate how it slows a PC down. Maybe Clam just to scan what you downloaded from the net.

So Avast is the way to go? AVG 2011 is busy detecting WoW and the wowlauncher as malware. Seems Avast is the way to go then?

AVG would probably detect its own executable as a virus given the chance.

Haha QFT!

AVG is a pathetic excuse for an antivirus!

I'm still a Kaspersky follower personally.

In my own experiences, I'd found Kaspersky better than NOD32

Although it has been awhile since I last used NOD32, think I'm just a KIS fanboi now

used to be my first choice, not anymore... eset's product has become incredibly bloated, while slipping somewhat in the speed and detection stakes...

both avast and avira antivir offer well balanced products - excellent detection at decent speeds with minimal FPs..

for the KIS fanbois, be aware that kaspersky suffers more FPs than AVG at relatively slower scan speeds, while delivering virtually identical detection results... :/... av-comps
