You can upload the screenshots to an image hosting site like imageshack or photobucket. Use the img tags and enclose the complete url of the image, but both imageshack and photobucket supply links you can copy and paste with the tags included already.

Good idea. I recommend using Megabyet if you want a free webhost. Looking forward to see what you have been up to. I have just finished my first complete platformer mini-game using Unity.

you only need blender. The interface is challenging, but once you learn it it works like a well oiled machine. It has great features, and you can make AAA quality stuff with it. Just look at the openproject movies they made.

Blender is great. However keep in my that it is challenging. You will have to go through quite a bit of tutorials before you will be able to create a game character. You will also have to animate the models. First use a model from the game engine you are using as a starting point to see how it needs to be done. Not every game engine uses the same type of models nor the same rigs. Modelling is not easy. But if you keep your head in the game you might do just fine. Good luck!

I'm still using version 2.49. What version are you using? The reason I ask is because Blender 2.5's Alpha 2 is now available and I hear it has a new layout. I also hear that quite a bit has changed. Dunno if is wise switching to 2.5 now as it still might have a few bugs.

Im currently busy with a small game in Unity 3D. I should be finished within 2 days. Would anyone be interested in a tutorial? Anyone even remotely interested in game development should download unity. Its taking the game dev world by by storm.

Attack of the evil hairy coconuts is now done!

It took about 4 days. Coding was done in C# and it uses PhysX for physics.

I don't visit this forum enough. You guys should search for "Tornado Twins" on Youtube, they did a tutorial series that really helped me get into Unity3D.

I'm currently working on a First Person game in Unity 3D(free version) and I must say that it's quite challenging, which I like. I'll post screenshots as soon as I've got something worth showing.

I'll try the coconut game tonight, can't wait. :)

And I am developing a Visualization Engine via Visual Studio ... although not a game - but somewhat related - that will be usable by primarily .net based media players, and such....

I am looking for an additional game project to join in on (if 3d / if space based ) if anyone needs a 3d modeller.
