Well if the movie is anything like the book = they have a winner. She finished the first one in record time and is begging me to buy the rest. There are 6 in total. And she really doesn't read much.

Try and get her some proper science fiction as well.... Arthur C Clarke's Rama series is really good. OR anything Asimov. :)

I get that you're trying to be funny, but this suggestion is so absurd I'm angry for some reason...
Well played.

Absurd that there is good science fiction, that my choices are good science fiction, or that she'll ever read any of it? I am guessing the latter. If so, I agree.

Not having a go at the spawn of Tribble by any means, its just that the thought of any teenage girl finishing Vampire Academy and immediately picking up 2001: A Space Odyssey is so absurd its almost comical
Until you imagine how quickly they would put it down...

The Ham is totally correct - she wants teen love stories - not scifi. It is a struggle to get her to watch Scifi in the evenings. She is bored by Babylon 5, doesn't like TNG or TOS or Enterprise - only DS9. Person of Interest bores her too. She loves Under the Dome because of that psycho character - yes he is cute but still.... She watches Arrow for the guy, Tomorrow people for the cousin. I am sure you understand now.
