very nice. but i think they need to change the name of the place. "upper hutt" sounds like a delapidated beach house. like you should be living in a tiny, backwards, welsh village.

I've actually got very few photos in and around Upper Hutt itself. Those will have to wait for post-lockdown.

Though, I do have this...

Just outside Upper Hutt, off State Highway 2 before the climb up and over the Remutaka Pass, is Kaitoke Regional Park. It was used for filming the Rivendell scenes:
