Best places to buy components? (Updated 18/12/2008

Post by SilverBack »

Hi,

Im looking for URL's of companies that sell pc components. viceroy informed me about pcint when looking for some stuff (at that stage O only used 2 companies to buy from). Needless to say I was happy to come across pcint as they have some great prices on certain components.

I know that there could be a problem listing all the companies here in this thread, as this is not an advertising forum etc...so if you peeps know of some others not so well known.....would really appreciate it. Thanks

I'm sure it's not against the rules, so long as said companies don't advertise themselves. Surely we're allowed to help you out. The usual suspects would include:

Digital SA Online
Sybaritic
The Prophecy Shop

Alternatively, there are a number of guys on the forum who might be able to help you out in a more personal capacity. Look out for the likes of Syndicate, SadistiK and Thinice.

In all honesty, I think this question is asked so often that it warrants a sticky thread where people can add all the retailers they've had joy with. Something like the Trusted Sellers' thread.

That's specifically for modding; this is just for general component supply. Besides, our point is that a mod/admin should really sticky a thread like this. The same question gets asked hald a dozen times a week, so if there's a sticky somewhere it'd really help.
