The Banshee was my favourite ship. :-)

I did have to cheat to make it past the first ten minutes of the game, though.

:D no... never actually got around to it and was discouraged by some folks... only to discover that it was, apparently, very worthwhile :|

0.o FARCRY 2 WITHOUT DRM!? Did Ubisoft gain a concience or a soul? Blasphemy! But I guess even sinners can repent so ...GG.

Rusty, Rusty, Rusty... your making far too little of an announcement on the GoG summer promo. Try creating a new thread that redirects to this thread :P

Yeah rusty I am also waiting for Steam to start its specials. Have you seen the leaked summer sale/event list? Just looking at it makes me realize I already have the games I wanted and that the only thing left is to look to the future. No more replacing my ancient titles, no more buying the stuff I didn't have money for in the past.

But maybe just maybe there is something that looked interesting that I might have missed. Will have to wait and see.

I'm looking at the walking dead but maybe I can wait until that hits the bargin bin. My biggest choice atm would be to either pre-order black ops 2 locally or just buy it over steam. The price difference is nearly neglible at this point since the game comes out at around R500+ here anyway and it is just over R500 with the current exchange rate.

Torchlight 2 and Guild Wars 2 already paid for. ...its all 2 much! :P

66% off on Witcher 1&2 on GoG ... grab them while they're hot!

Kingdoms of Amalur up on Gamersgate at 50% off ~R130... which stands in stark contrast to the price point on Steam, (~R480 on steam vs R260 on GG) :/....

even if a 75% off happened in steam's summer sale it would only match...

either i'm missing something obvious or gabe needs a new pair of shoes... for TF2...

<looks at Starbound> what's special about the UK version on GG... any difference/missing content?

<edit>after digging.. the steam version comes without that origin virus... but will likely not go on sale... because the dev who released it is doa...

R480 for no origin?... tough choice...

Why you looking at me rusty? I didn't say anything about GG. I just use Steam and GoG.

But Amalur is a good game. Long, bit cartoony, but solid at least the parts I played. Haven't made it 1/4 thru the game yet.

Let's be honest that game is a piece of crap :P
But it was the first 3d diablo clone and even so it wasn't that badly done. Think Nox might have been a better game.

Ai rusty, now your making me think back on the days when Westwood and Blizzard was neck on neck with RTS games.
