BlazBlue is the better game but not avalible for the PC. I didn't know this was an actual pc game. I thought it was a ps2 emulated port.

my bro had 233 hours on FFX and 166 hours on the 2nd play thru. But for all intents and purposes the game stops at around 40-60 hours.

$6 on GoG... (a superb RTS by anyone's standards... if a little tougher than most)

also, it's a D&D 1+1 party:

  • Bladur's Gate
    Icewind dale
    Neverwinter Nights
    Planescape Torment
    ...
with the exception of that Demon Stone rubbish, all classic must-haves...

It's not the original but it's not entirely horrible either - has some worthwhile moments and is actually quite fun when it comes to the pacifist approach...

the hacking function a is complete rip-off of uplink

I watched my brother play a few bits and I barely escaped with my life. I would have died of boredom within half an hour.

Hmmm....so it may be a bit iffy. For what they are worth, I'll try reading some reviews, though I would much rather play a demo [if there was one].

No comment on Dark Reign, I see.

I liked the demo but back then it had 2 resolution settings. 640x480 and the next was 1280x960 which was well beyond the capabilities of my screen. Think it was best described as Final Fantasy for PC using the quake 2 engine.

Ultima IV was a recent addition to the list...

Dragonsphere has been there a while... good time-waster but i struggled to play a stable game on Win7 so ended up running it in a vm...

they've also just added TAG, which the niece seems to enjoy...
