Anyone here play wizard? I use a passive (forgot the name), that blocks about 12k damage every 5 seconds, according to the passive description. It seems more like its blocking 12k damage from every attack i receive. I'm guessing this is probably a bug. Have anyone else seen this?

Puppy plays Wizard. I think its either the Witch Doctor or the Wizard that is his favourite...

Playing multiple characters but the demon hunter just has a strange charm to it. Strange because the barb and monk with their explosive combat styles has a much more saticefying feeling when killing something that it flies 500 miles up up and away :P

Played last night with 3 of my friends...was level 56 with lvl 2 paragon(Torment)...within an hour was level 60, paragon level 8. The Experienced gained is insane! Started on 15k DPS and at the end of our session was doing 42k DPS. So happy with D3 now :)

This is the Diablo 3 we all deserved!

sunk 12 hours into it over the long weekend here and am about 22 paragon levels up.

Been playing Torment level 2 like a boss with my 60K DPS, 866K toughness Monk (pre-buffs & mantras)

Cant wait to play as Crusader...

Collectors Edition is a possibility

So is this the trend Blizzard takes? Release a game, wait 2 years, fix the game? It's amazing how they managed to fix a game that seemed broken beyond repair.

Well to be fair Julius Malema could have read the first post on any forum discussion on Diablo 3 and known what the fixes would be

- kill the auction houses
- fix loot drops

It wasn't hard. Bliz only woke up to the facts because interest in the game had dwindled and they needed to do something to rekindle some interest before the expansion launched

As much as I hate to play into their hands it worked.

I'm kinday surprised that torment "seems" easy. I've been doing master (after doing act 1 and diablo on expert), think i'm not strong enough for torment. I currently have about ~70k DPS and 1.1 mil toughness.
I think I should try it today.

That is about what my monk rocks with buffs and mantras and I can play Act 1 and 2 on Torment L2
You should be able to do level one solo without too many issues unless your build is seriously flawed

Definitly good enough to play L1 Torment, but get your DPS up a bit more... actually a lot more... like over 100K. How much do you crit for? I aim for 1.5 million and don't stop until you get there
Dont worry about HP sacrifice some for DPS if necessary

I know if a wizard joins a public game I am in and I doesn't out-DPS me by a long way I am seldom happy

I'm not 100% sure how much i crit, i think its about 150k? I'll check when I get home. I know the frozen orb my weapon gives does about 500k damage. I cant help but smile when zombies gets airborne after a hit by that

Still looking for better gear, as always. I'm currently level 60 with paragon level 18, even though the link says paragon level 1.

I've been getting yellow gear that requires level 59 or 60 to equip. Sometimes i'm unable to do so though, it says my level is too low, even though i'm 60. I know in the past we had level 61-63 gear, is that still in effect, or how does this work?

Those numbers that pop up in yellow when you hit an enemy are crit hits, so not every hit with your orb does 500K, but when you do crit its for 500K

I can crit for 700K, so you need to refocus your gear on DPS more, at the rate drops go now it shouldnt take you long - too bad US/SEA servers are down I would be playing now

You can equip gear with a buff that lets you wear other items X levels higher. Legendary and set items can sometimes be over L60. But keep it, when the expo lands the level cap goes up to 70 :D

Oh, so the level requirement shows as 60, but its actually higher... interesting.

I thought the level 70 cap was only for people that bought the expansion. I would have bought it, if it didnt almost cost as much as the original game :?

EDIT: Yea i know which are crits, just dont remember the number :P
I'm hoping the "new" galvanizing ward remains the same after the expansion.

Oh you're not buying the expo, the sorry, no level cap increase for you :( I just assumed everyone posting in this thread now was in it to win it

Charging full game price for an expansion is kinda a Bliz trademark... I'm not overly happy about it, this should have been 50% what they are currently asking for it. That being said they arent selling bread or water. This is a luxury item they can charge whatever they want for it... some of us will pay, some wont... if you are patient and wait a few months the price will probably come down

Why is that shocking? The box set costs more.. I have the D3 collectors edition box set and it costed $89 which is around that.
Just but the digital delux edition - thats what I did this time round
All you will be missing is the artbook and behind the scenes DVD.

The vanilla D3 CE has a super-awesome diablo memorystick which I bought it for.
Turns out the memory stik was ony 4GB, but it did have Diablo 1 and 2 with all the expo's on it, so there was that

Pre-order bonuses ontop of CE goodies? This is a first for blizzard.

Well, gonna take my swords with me on collection day. Need to protect both me and my bros CE since I need to pick up both. Wonder if monday will have a midnight launch.
