In your head yes.

But why would you need groups.

Its a feature I started using 3 days ago. As a web developer I like to have a lot of sites on hand. I have a group with links to PHP/Actionscript/SQL sites (9), a group with links to site with inspirational links Logos/Photoshop/Artwork (4), and a general group containing Forums(including this one)/Cracked.com/evilmilk.com/theregister (7). So that's a total of 20 sites (and I have not even started putting in my 3D links) and even on my 23" that's way too many and varied for one screen. I think its freakin awesome. Also I can change the colours!!!

That is what you have bookmarks for. Damn these poor web developers. Seems like they don't understand the concepts of their own environment.

Dude a Speed Dial is just that. How many phone numbers do you want on speed dial on your phone. It's not like you don't have a address book. Speed dial is for stuff you generally keep open the whole time not stuff you might want to visit in order to go grab some code or something. And yes I have like 20 pages open at any given time during the day as I sit and monitor all our services from it and if one of them closes unexpectedly I don't have the time to go fish through bookmarks for it. So in that sense it is brilliant. I's like new tab-click and it's there up and running. For development resources they are still organized by category under bookmarks cuz that is what they are.... Bookmarks.

Why are you making this so personal?

Why is it suddenly taboo to use it as bookmarks, especially when you have the added advantage of visual cues?

I have no numbers on my speed dial on my phone.

As and side-note I also have something called "morning coffee" which basically opens up any number of pre-selected sites in one go. Now that's what I call speed-dial!

The only problem I've noticed so far with the latest Opera is that the tab thumbnails no longer show you an exact thumbnail of the page, it always shows the page as if it was scrolled all the way to the top, regardless of where on that page you actually are.

... hmmm... thus far Opera not quiet living up to expectations... http://www.favbrowser.com/chrome-vs-ope ... vs-safari/ plus I have encountered a few sites that didn't open right... (thank goodness IE8 :? still lurks in the shadows to assist in those times of peril)

Wow... the difference in load times for different browsers in different sites is interesting... if my browser wasn't so slow I'm sure I could find a different comparison stating how fast it actually is :)

The origination of that error is the jsp code not the browser. Thus it is service related and not the fault of the browser. The fact that the site also uses not standard error pages does not help either.

I realise that it is not the browser as it doesn't happen all the time. Another thing that is annoying about SB's site is a little window that pops up asking if you want to extend your session, however clicking yes does not work and thus I still get logged out!

okay so here is the deal.
I have just installed Opera 10 and Chrome 3 and i still have my Firefox 3.5.3 installed.

I am giving Opera a try but I am already annoyed with the fact that I cannot drag images to the desktop.

Whats with that?

I have been using FF for YEARS now and have NEVER dragged an image to the desktop. Why would you need such functionality?

When I need an image I do not want to have to use context menus. I want to drag and drop to desktop to save time.

Okay. I typically have so many windows open that minimising them to get to my desktop would take longer than right click > save as

Ok I'm seriously at a loss as to why I keep having problems with certain pages not displaying properly any more in my beloved browser of choice. Does the following happen to anyone else:

Wowhead in Opera (not displaying properly):

Wowhead in IE (how it's meant to appear):

Is it a problem with my install, the site or something else? :?
