Hall Of Shame

Post by neon_chameleon »

Hey everyone, got bored of learning for exams, decided to make a new thread.

If this has been done before on the forums, someone let me know please.

I'm sure most people have come across strange error messages before, either in on various websites upon entering details, for example, or perhaps on your favourite Office program or even that tiny app at adjusts your CPU speeds. Some people will know they go by the name "Hall Of Shame" or "Hall Of Shamers". So I thought why not have a thread about them. I have actually come across quite a few as I have done some amateur system design of late so I was thinking it would be great to show off some "special" error messages that people come across.

Please make sure that any images do not contain any personal details or blatantly advertising or any profanity material or images that would be restricted under copyright laws.

Do you guys reckon this should be under Software or Chillout...Relax or somewhere else perhaps?

Anyway to start out, here's a nice cellc one I found :

Hey shlebib, it does mainly relate to software though. Let's see what others say and maybe some interesting additions. I'm sure jamin has a few.

Yeah virii cause funky error messages indeed and don't relate to anything that is remotely similar to the problem.

Would have like to see that error message though. Don't you wanna re-infect your pc with that virus? ;)

my fave was back from when i was doing C++ at uni. Hit compile and watch that error count rise... and then STOP with a really brilliant message:

"too many errors, bailing out"

and all because I missed a semi colon somewhere.

C++, you gotta love it
