Need Green E-waste Disposal Site

Post by Tribble »

Hello there

I have these really really ancient computers that we want to throw away. But we want to do the responsible thing and use a green waste disposal site. Does anyone know of such a place?

I heard there might be one near Northriding but not sure. We would prefer somewhere near Centurion if possible.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

MOOD - Thirsty

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

Thanks - I went to Makro Centurion and the ebin has been removed. I will go again and just see if it has been placed elsewhere.

Put it out with the recycling. That is what I would do.

Nope they only collect paper from us for recycling. Don't think 10 or so PCs would go down well with them

Kick up hell and demand to see the manager?

Alternatively.
You might want to try Universal Recycling. They used to be big guns in the e-waste thing when I was still interested, but I've been out of the loop for years. Maybe givethem a call and enquire?
