Intel is more expensive than AMD in general. However AMD now is only better with its low end cpus. If you have the money for an i5, you go for an i5. Even the i3 compared to some of the AMD cpus is a better choice. AMD can have a massive core advantage early on but performance wise intel is king in most of the benchmarks.

What do you mean? The board has 1 SATA6 slot, it has 4 usb 3 ports, it has a 16x pci-e slot for a card, you have ram slots for duel channel but no further expansion and no sli/xfire support.

R2300 not R1300...

I should also add that the brand I swear with in SSDs is Intel. Kingston gets second place while OCZ is 3rd on my list. I've heard Samsung however is starting to produce the more kickass SSDs out there.

you can maybe try this one: http://www.wootware.co.za/samsung-mz-7t ... drive.html

But are you adding the SSD ontop of the build? So its gonna be R9k for the machine then? Or are you scaling down?

At those prices, not one of them. Because of performance, the i5 4670k. Because of the cost per performance of those 3, the FX8320.

I'm assuming your sticking to stock speeds so there isn't a big difference between the 8320 and the 8350. I also doubt the i5 4670k performs 40% better than the FX 8320. Again if your budget is a problem then you should look at the hex core or quad core AMD cpus. Once you reach the mark of being able to go intel i5 it normally is better to go with intel.
