Mine arrived yesterday. If I had had the presence of mind to provide for a mouse and keyboard for it, I would have started playing last night. As it is, I shall wait until I can go shopping tomorrow.

Do any of you have a case for it? Why didn't they include a D-Sub connector?

The video processor does not support VGA as far as I know.

I am going to try to make a case.

Nope. Time Crisis. Old console game.

Element14/Farnell and also from RS Online.

RS Online is much quicker though. Recommend you order from them.

No, only HDMI and an old video out connector to hook up to TVs.

I made a case out of lego. Remarkably simple and fits perfectly.

I kinda suspected that. Which is why I didn't rag you directly about your spelling mistake, but rather (successfully it seems) tried to be obfuscate the issue even further.

I think A and B will both be shipped with 256MB RAM and 2 USB ports. They've upgraded the A model.

I got an 'invitation to order'. And when I did so was told the unit would be despatched in ~12 weeks.

Sorry, too long a wait for a toy.

Damnit, their laser cutter was fine 2 days ago, and now it's out of action it seems. Check back in a week or so maybe?

Nevertheless, here's the link to the product:

While I haven't done anything with it at this stage, I'm seriously considering procuring one to take over DNS/DHCP duty from my Linux server.

Some backstory may be needed here: a previous DSL router had a bug related to both its built in dhcpd and named that would kill network access for all clients obtaining dynamic addresses, and no amount of mails to the manufacturer (with proven failure cases) could persuade them to fix the bug and release an updated firmware version, so, after I sent off a final mail telling them that they were **** useless idiots, I dusted off my old experimental box (an old AMD Athlon X2 4200), installed a suitable Linux distribution, and configured it to handle all internal DNS and DHCP requests. (It was easier and cheaper for me to set this up than to buy new networking kit -- besides, I couldn't find anything with the features I consider essential at the time.) For those historical reasons, that Linux server is still doing duty, but I'm now questioning whether the ratio of work done to power consumed is still worth keeping it running.
