System temps 2012

So its mid January. The beetles are making a sizzling noise, birds fall from the sky crispy and golden brown, and my cpu fan is making more noise than previously.

So I am running my system monitoring software to see whats going on. My fan is spinning at 3000RPM which is up from the 1500RPM it had sometime last year. The stats are as follows:

i7 - fan 3000RPM, cpu idle temp 55C, cpu load temp 79C (was last night)
gfx - idle temp 45C, load temp 65C

Clearly that MSI twinfrozer does its job. Soon I will be slapping that H80 hydro cooler onto my new cpu and see what it looks like.

What are your temps?

I was wondering when a thread like this might pop up

Here are my temps though(at room temp of 23.5C):

CPU(core 2 duo E7500): at idle 24C, at max load 37C(never seems to go much higher)
GPU(GTS450): at idle 34C, max load 68C(on a hot day it will easily get to 75C)

The CPU runs rather cool thanks to the CoolerMaster TX3, nothing fancy but it clearly works :) .

I'm a retard. Just won the award for the year. Installed the watercooler with the plastic covering and wondered why the PC kept saying 80C.

Anyway...
i7 3930k @ 36C with water cooling and 2000RPM on the fan. Room temp at 30C or so.

ROFLMAO

I did something similarly stupid once. I had just reinstalled the CPU cooler on my K6-2 after attempting to fix the fan bearings and I forgot to plug the fan back in, I was wondering why the PC gave me a BSOD.......luckily it did not get fired though.

But that i7 is running nice and cool now, you must post pics of this new beast you have

Under load its sitting at just under 60C. Thinking I should set the pump speed to medium. But its quiet on low and well within normal readings.
