Well, my case is here and everything is as is! :)

Running my CPU at 3.8 GHz on 1.225 volts. Load goes to about 67 degrees.

That case mod is insanely brilliant! Looks like a PC Iron Man should use.

I think I mentioned what I have in drips and drabs over the past few pages so no worries...

I have the following currently set up:

Jingway 600L/hour pump
Black Ice Extreme Radiator
Danger Den Bay Reservoir (added a blue LED behind it)
Swiftech Apogee XT CPU Block
Danger Den Satin Copper GTX 480 Block
Tygon 1/2" ID Tubing
Feser One Blue UV Coolant
Various fans, barbs and clamps

Total cost was about R5K (excl import duties). I bought everything from Danger Den (www.dangerden.com) except for the CPU block which I got from Landmark locally (www.landmarkpc.co.za).

It can be done for cheaper though. Have a look here, where B@rNeY is busy assembling a nice system as well...

Hi there ryanrich

first off, thanks for the response with all the details in it, that really helps me a lot. I am definitley going to look into it, as soon as my budget allows for it, as it was spent on my new goodies.

correct if i am wrong, but from what i can see, is everything cooled in one loop there, or is each one on its own loop. If that is the case (no pun intended), i am definitley going to do what you have done.

Thanks again for your help with this.

No problem! CPU and GPU are both on one loop.

Yup, card and CPU running at the overclocked speeds in my sig. Both max out around mid to low 60's under load at the clocked settings. Not bad for a single radiator and single 120mm fan... :)

Hi guys, as you read I decided to upgrade my current setup to a i7 2600 Sandy Bridge (NO NORTHBRIDGE!!)-- read below...
I can give you some stats on the H50 though...
IDLE (my PC is OC'ed Q8300@ 3.75Ghz from 2.5) it runs at 32*
ON LOAD (Gaming, ORTHOS,Prime95) it comes in at just over 52* and STAYS THERE.

My big drawback however is that my Northbridge is statically cooled, and this means the inside of my case is a nice and hot 52* as well !
I (presume) this is detrimental to my cooling performance - but not too much according to some of the forum posts I have read on overclockers forums, have put a fan on there - but being a olde(r) board the Speedfan app cannot control this little 40mm ... and its running at 5500RPM all the time.. noisy as HELL !
Over all I am happy.. and will post up some more results when I have the i7

I see there is a H60 now. Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 50, 60 and 70?

H50 and 70 are made by Asetek. H60 is a Coolit Product, thats about all I know so far.

*edit* It is

From the reviews I looked at this morning, performance of the H50 and H70 is pretty much the same as any high-end air cooler, so wouldn't be worth the extra cost for me to sell my Venomous X and get one.

You mean a WC kit that's closed? 'Cause they already have the Aquagate Max. Which looks awesome, but not everyone seems to think it is.

XSPC Rasa 750 RX240 WaterCooling Kit

http://www.watercoolingshop.co.uk/XSPC- ... ASLZF.aspx

Any idea if its good...? Friends of ours is returning from the UK in August (works for Maersk shipping), he's willing to bring it through customs if I will just pay the extra costs... Running a H70 at the moment, but it limits where I can push my i7-950.. I'm liking the idea of a complete kit so I don't have to try figure out inside / outside diameters etc.

Case will work perfectly for it (HAF 922)...
Intel i-7 950 (4Ghz with HT on) / 3 X 2Gb Kingston Hyper-X (1600MHz) / MSI X58A-GD / 2 x EVGA Nvidia 1Gb 460GTX SuperClocked External Exhaust / 320gb Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid HDD + 2 x Seagate 1TB SATA 6Gb/s/ Corsair H70 Hydro Water Cooling / Corsair TX 850W PSU / CoolerMaster HAF-922 / 2 x 22" Fujitsu LCD Wide

I know the 750 RS360 got very good reviews (see link), so I would imagine the 240 is also a good kit. I'm going to get the Corsair H100 when it comes out as it has a 240mm radiator.

Okay, so my H100 finally arrived! Running my 930 @ 4 GHz @ 1.27v, going to run Prime overnight to check the stability. Max load temps ranges between 69 and 72.

Okay, got my 930 up to 4.2 GHz! It's running at 1.35 volts, also had to up my PLL, IOH and ICH volts slightly to get it stable, but it seems to be running fine now. Today is a slightly warm and humid day, so load under Prime95 is up to 81 - 83, but normally it's between 77 and 79, which I think is great! What an awesome cooler...
